About

Our specialty is our Old Millennials Podcast, but our Old Millennials Remember site is another one of those “nostalgia” places dedicated to the best spread of pop culture in modern history, or at least according to our generation.

Old Millennials Remember is dedicated to movies, television and more from the mid-80s through the early 2000s. However, don’t hold us to any specific time period. “Nostalgia” can mean many things, and we’ll be the ones defining it here, damnit. In addition to our website, see where you can listen or subscribe.

Old Millennials Purpose

We’re not here to gush over our favorite things, and we’re not here to actively trash on them either. We’re here to talk about the entertainment that mattered to us growing up. We discuss its enduring relevance and study what value they have removed from our dumb childhood brains.

One important distinction – We’re in our thirties – technically “millennials”, but we sort of resent the classification. Basically, we’ll take all your compliments, but we’ll kindly disregard your negative preconceptions about the generation in which we reluctantly align.

Old Millennials PodcastHost: Old Millennials Remember Movies Podcast

I’m an exhausted, 8-5 working mom. I make time for movies, dates out with Tyler, time with our 4 little kids, and some other nerdy hobbies (none of which include keeping a well-cleaned or organized home or completing pinterest-level activities with the kids). I’ve been with Tyler since we were 18 (back in 2002), and over the years we’ve watched hundreds of movies and shared thousands of opinions (mostly with each other). I’m excited to revisit movies from our childhood and share our take on them now.

Tyler began his professional writing career at age 15 and has written about movies for the entirety of his adult life. He is a regular arts and features contributor for publications like The Spokesman Review, Live Well Magazine, and has been a regular columnist, editor and reporter for the Coeur d’Alene Press since 2006. He is also a stay-at-home dad to four wild children, and none of them love Ninja Turtles as much as he does.
